Miramar Canes 11-U 2011......Go Out WIth A Bang !!!
After three very successful seasons, the 11U Miramar Canes traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to participate in The Ripken Experience 11U Ocean Breeze Tournament for their last hurrah. The Canes started the tournament 4-1 in seeding games and after a very tough victory against the PLO Bulldogs; the Canes were determined to go out with a bang. They went 3-0 to win the championship by a margin of 40-7, knocking out all of their opponents.
Miramar Canes 13-U, 2009 Grand Slam World Series Champions
The Miramar Canes won the Grand Slam World Series Championship at Panama City Beach, FL, going 7-0-1 to win the 13U title.
After tying the Powder Springs Seminoles GA 3-3 in a rematch game of last year's Elite Eight teams at Cooperstown Dreams Park, the Canes ran the table, staying in the winner bracket in the double-elimination 32-team Grand Slam tournament with 7 straight wins, including an 11-9 slugfest victory over Knights Baseball of Mississippi in the championship game.
The Canes defeated the vaunted Knights twice including a quarterfinal come-from-behind 10-7 win. The Knights had been winners of their last 14 straight games in USSSA tournament play, four straight tournaments and came into Panama City Beach ranked #1 in Mississippi.
The Panama City Beach World Series tournament hosted by Grand Slam Sports, featured teams from 17 states... a kick-off beach party hosted by the team under the fireworks on July 4th made for a terrific start of the week for the Canes and the week ended with a celebratory victory pool party right after the championship game on July 11th.

The Miramar Canes 12-U, 2009 Travel Baseball
The Miramar Canes 12 & under travel baseball team won the USSSA Cobras
Heartbreaker baseball tournament in Pembroke Pines.
The Canes went 1-1 in seeding games to begin elimination play as the #4 seed.
They defeated the #5 seed Coral Springs Bombers 9 to 1 on 2/14 to advance to
the semifinal against the Miami Critters
In the semifinal on 2/15 the Canes prevailed 8 to 2
over the top seeded Critters
The championship game was an offensive explosion as the Canes put up 16 hits
and defeated the Cobras 13 to 7 to claim the championship.
